Singapore, 9 July 2003 - NETRUST PTE LTD of Singapore and PT SAYAN PROSES of Indonesia are pleased to announce the appointment of PT Sayan Proses as the authorized verification agent for Netrust SSL Web and WAP Server Certificates in indonesia.

The increasing pervasiveness of Internet transactions in Indonesia has resulted in an increasing concern about the security and reliability of Internet transactions. A major issue in the public’s mind is the legitimacy and security of the websites that they log into. The public needs strong assurance that they log into a legitimate and genuine web site, and that the information that they send via the Internet, whether web browsers or other means, stay private and confidential. It is therefore critical that a website delivers the highest level of trust and security.

Netrust and Sayan Proses help to alleviate public’s concern about the security and legitimacy of websites by issuing digital certificates to websites that have passed through a set of strict verification measures by Netrust and Sayan Proses. Websites that have received Netrust digital certificates will be given the Netrust Internet Seal (see below) that may be displayed at their websites. The Netrust Internet Seal signifies that the website is legitimate and secure, and that the public may trust and feel secure visiting those websites. The public can click on this seal to confirm the status and validity of the websites that they visit.

Netrust Certificate is powered by ENTRUST (www.entrust.com), a world leader in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) technologies, and will facilitate an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) or WTLS (Wireless Transport Layer Socket) connection where it protects confidential information from interception across the public or shared communication network and detects data tampering to uphold data integrity.
