sign-on to different applications, in addition to using Netrust digital certificates for securing e-mail, files and folders, and for secure VPN solutions."
"AccessMatrix enables organisations to quickly integrate different applications with a common security infrastructure. Organisations will appreciate that our technology is open. The integration with Netrust digital certificates is a logical step forward for us and together we provide a compelling solution to our customers" said Chan Kim Hing, CTO of iSprint Innovations.
How does the integration work?
AccessMatrix will integrate with the Netrust PKI infrastructure as a configuration option. This will enable organisations to leverage the digital certificates provided by Netrust for authentication and digital signing. AccessMatrix will hide the technical complexity from application developers in integrating PKI technology.
This integration provides a number of benefits, including:
- Out-of-the-box support for Netrust certificates.
- Single sign-on to multiple applications.
- Re-authentication for users to execute critical business transactions.
- Powerful administration model to efficiently and easily manage the access rights of both internal and external users.
- Decentralised administration through the granular assignment of administration rights to security administrators at all levels of an organization.
- Choice of authentication methods such as SmartCard/PKI, one-time password token, etc.
