CDSecure

Netrust's CDSecure controls the access to sensitive data, by specifying the time period for which the contents of CD are accessible, and also by preventing the unapproved reproduction and alteration of the original content. The two main components of CDSecure are the Packager and the Viewer. Encryption and signing capabilities of Netrust certificates and cryptographic toolkits are used to secure files, for a validity period.

The Packager guides the data owner to encrypt the data and specify CD options such as time validity of the data, print option, etc. When the user opens any secure document from the CD with the Viewer, the document is decrypted in real time and is displayed inside the Viewer. The user is not allowed to copy or save the documents. Window controls for Copy-Paste, Save As, Print, and Print Screen are blocked while the document is displayed.

Secure Document Viewer

Netrust's Secure Document Viewer ensures that your valuable documents and Web content are always secure, no matter where and how   they're distributed. You can share confidential or proprietary documents without giving up control of this information. Documents are encrypted and protected wherever they are distributed giving you a powerful business tool for communicating with partners, suppliers, colleagues or even the normal web users.

A Secure Document viewer is a container that allows for document display. It is the Document Viewer that requests for the encrypted data, decrypts it and displays it to the user. It does not interfere in any way with the viewing of the document. It provides the user with the same browsing experience, as he would expect in any standard browser such as Internet Explorer. However, the user is not allowed to copy or save the documents. Window controls for Copy-Paste, Save As, Print, Print Screen, caching are all blocked.

Incorporating Secure Document Viewer to an existing Web site simply involves a single component installation on the Web server and then using a GUI based utility to specify the documents that need to be protected. No installation on the client end is needed as the components are automatically downloaded and installed when a secured document on that Web server is referenced.

NServer
