IBM and Netrust Pte Ltd, have announced an alliance which will enable IBM to implement several key e-business solutions and products that ride on Netrust's secure online identification and security infrastructure. "We look forward to working even more closely with IBM to spearhead more innovative e-commerce solutions."

Apart from e-business solutions for retail, banking, government, manufacturing, IBM also offers award-winning products such as Net.Commerce, VisualAge, WebSphere and DB2 Universal Database.

With the integration of Netrust online identification and security infrastructure, customers can now benefit from the added trust that can be used to aid in reducing fraud.

The IBM Netrust Redirector is a low cost solution that deploys Netrust online identification and security infrastructure on existing web sites. This install-and-go software module securely authenticates the person accessing the web site, and enables e-business transactions over the Internet using Netrust "digital signature" certificates.
